Here is the old map of Mahé Island in the Seychelles. Created in 1900 for the Seychelles Government, it details all of the paths, roads and principal landowners of that time. The following information is printed on the maps title block:
“Made in accordance with Ordinance No7 of 1898. Based on survey by Commander Balfour HMS Stork 1890 and showing the principal landed properties as compiled from various plans and other sources and laid down by Traverse of roads and paths, by S.B. Hobbs, Island surveyor 27th Sept 1900.”
